I love a good neighborhood bar. Good music and atmosphere (which includes a few good pieces of eye-candy wrapped to your own personal liking) and of course the alcohol. Let's face it, the Lion, Scarecrow and Dorothy were just looking for a place to hang. DC's has all of that and much less. Remember, less is more and if that is your style than this is your joint. I'm NOT talking less like a red dot on a white canvas pretentiousness but a hang up your hat and your beer is poured before you sit joint. Simplicity. When you first walk in you'll be instantly greeted by the far wall of the bar; the place is small. Drink specials, Sorry, this IS NOT your straw hat place. What you will find is one of the most eclectic jukeboxes around, a pool table and a mounted Sailfish. Need we say more. Other aspects that will win points in the Ol' Man Bar category are a beautiful, finished wood bar and stools to match, a traditional checked floor pattern and a mirror that runs the full length behind the bar. If it looks like a bar and it smells like a bar than it must be a bar. This is the real deal.
