Our Mission & Philosophy
All Saints Episcopal Day School nurtures academic excellence and social responsibility for early childhood and elementary school children through enriched experiences in an urban community.
At All Saints we inspire
* The discipline and integrity to be successful in school and in life
* An appreciation for the diversity and cultural wonder of urban life
* A responsibility for this planet and gratitude for its beauty
* A developed sense of one’s own spirituality through social action and service
* A sincere love of learning
All Saints Episcopal Day School
* Provides an excellent education for children ages three years through fourth grade in a school that is caring, safe and academically stimulating. The School guides its students through the first stages of their education creating a life-long love of learning by nurturing creativity, enthusiasm, and curiosity.
* Utilizes an interdisciplinary curriculum that teaches traditional subjects in relation to one another. Nursery school is the foundation of the developmental program, which continues through the fourth grade. Children are challenged individually to achieve their academic potential while participating as members of a class.
* Enhances children's natural curiosity and abilities through experience. All Saints celebrates city life, and the unique resources of our urban community become a center of learning. The School encourages children to participate in their community. As a result, our students appreciate the cultural diversity of their school, their city, and their world.
* Focuses on developing children's minds and unique talents. Through enhancement of character and self-esteem, children learn to treat one another with compassion, respect, kindness, and dignity.
* Believes that the future of our planet will be one of our children's greatest challenges. The School emphasizes responsibility and gratitude for the earth and all living things.
* Affirms that the physical, the intellectual, and the spiritual are critical to children's development. We encourage children to give of themselves to others, especially the less fortunate, and to respect others' beliefs no matter how different.
* Encourages parents to share the work, education, and play of their children by attending our enrichment programs and education activities. Parents are an integral part of our School's success and should share in the joy of watching their children learn and succeed.
