Frank Licato has worked as a director, actor and producer. He staged the Off-Broadway hit revival of Requiem For A Heavyweight for the Cooper Square Workshop and the award winning Off-Broadway revival of Sam Shepard's Seduced at the Kraine Theater. Most recently he directed Vincent Big Pussy Pastore and Maureen Van Zandt in Clifford Odet's Golden Boy at the Raw Space. He has also directed Sounds of a Better World concert at the 92nd Street Y with Geoffrey Holder, Odetta and the Boys Choir of Harlem. His production of Mamet's American Buffalo ran to critical acclaim and a four-month run at the Elyze Theater in Athens, Greece. Mr. Licato has worked with actors such as Edie Falco, Martin Sheen, and Alan Arkin. He has studied with Joe Chaiken and Peter Brook and has taught workshops at Emerson College in Boston, Clark University in Wooster, MA, the University of Colorado and the University of Toronto.
