hobokeni.com - Hoboken Blogs

Calling all blogs!

OK, just blogs about, for, or based in Hoboken. We have seen many changes to the internet in the 10 years that we have been a part of its vast informational landscape. None seems to be more significant than the dissemination of information, especially in the category of news. We understand, probably better than most, that no matter how hard we try, even in a mile square city you're going to miss some event, benefit, or other hoboken happening. Hobokeni has created a page which will link to the various Hoboken blogs. Each blog entry will contain a short description to help guide you to the blogs that will interest you most.

If you would like to see your blog included on this page, please email your blog URL and a short description to Webmaster

Gold Coast Buzz
Many use their iPods or MP3 players every day to listen to cds and songs. But not everyone knows what a podcast is. A podcast is like on-demand radio. It's TIVO for the radio. You listen to what you want when you want to. There are podcasts on just about every subject imaginable. Now Hoboken has its own podcast, Gold Coast Buzz, at Gold Coast Buzz. You can listen to it right on your computer by going to the site and clicking the play arrow on the player icon. It's also listed in the iTunes directory so you can go and subscribe there. A subscription is free and that means each new episode will come to your computer automatically. Gold Coast Buzz features interviews with people in the area who are making things happen, highlights local Hoboken events, and locations. There's also music and podcasting tips. Podcasting allow local voices and local news to be "on the air" again. Since sharing is an essential part of this make sure you visit Gold Coast Buzz and listen to it on your computer or subscribe at iTunes and let me know what you think on either the blog or the listener comment line. If you have an event or place you think I should do a segment on send me your suggestions. Go to iTunes, subscribe and leave a comment – let's put Hoboken on the national media map!
