Yep, you are right. From now on, I will only post Ann Coulter articles because she knows what's best. On the contrary HFC, post as much Krugman as possible. It's important to get all sides.
Honestly, I figured it was posted sarcastically. I mean, who can believe this stuff?

I love Liberals. If it weren't for the idiots on the far left, Republicans could be in real trouble.
Al Gore buddy owner of sunken ship that left huge carbon footprint on Antarctic Ocean floor
By Judi McLeod Monday, November 26, 2007
You’d never read this in the mainstream media: The owner of MS Explorer that sank, leaving a huge carbon footprint at the bottom of the Antarctic Ocean Friday is an acolyte of teensy-weensy carbon footprint crusader Al Gore.
G.A.P. Adventures CEO and Explorer owner, Bruce Poon Tip and Gore have similar ideals, “filling their schedules with speaking engagements on environmental change to educate global audiences.” And that’s straight off of http://www.gapadventures.com. In fact, as recently as last April, both Poon Tip and Gore gave presentations at the Green Living Show in Toronto.
Bruce Poon Tip and Al Gore“I expressed my admiration for Mr. Gore’s commitment and leadership which spans more than 20 years,” commented Poon Tip. “I also invited him aboard our legendary polar expedition ship, the MS Explorer to visit the Arctic.”
The legendary polar expedition ship…”had at least five faults at its last inspection,” according to Greenpeace spokeswoman Bunny McDiarmid. “Maritime records show the MV Explorer has completed more than 40 cruises to the ice, but has lately been suffering maintenance and safety problems.”
Maintenance and safety problems never kept the MS Explorer from setting out for the Antarctica two weeks ago.
Good thing Gore was otherwise occupied when 154 passengers and crew had to be rescued at sea when their eco-cruise ship struck ice in the Antarctic Ocean and started to sink early Friday morning. (None of the eco warriors aboard MS Explorer were identified in weekend media coverage).
There was little mention in the mainstream media that the passengers were comprised of eco warriors or that they had spent thousands of dollars to see ice at a much closer range than they ever dreamed.
How the vessel sustained a “fist-sized hole” is a mystery taken down to the ocean floor.
Meanwhile, Greenpeace believes tourism in Antarctica should be strictly limited because of the fate of MS Explorer, but the silence is deafening from Poon Tip and Gore about the huge carbon footprint left on the ocean floor.

2007: A Loony-Left Year By Brent Bozell III Wednesday, December 19, 2007
The end of 2007 doesn't seem half as depressing to the conservative faithful as it was in the beginning. Democrats captured the Congress, sure. But now it's their approval ratings that are in the toilet, and worse still, their rabid leftist base has turned on them for not being rabidly leftist enough. The presidential front-runners are no longer inevitable, not even Hillary Clinton's buy-one-get-one-free ticket. The economy is fairly strong, regardless of the pessimistic media coverage. We've had another year without America being successfully attacked by terrorists. The surge is working.
All this good news is driving the left nuts, and nowhere is this more evident than in the national media, which are making no attempt to shake off their collective gloom-and-doom tone.
As the good news began emanating from Iraq this fall, the McClatchy News Service, lauded by media leftists like Bill Moyers as having the smart reporters who always thought the Iraq War was a fight without a point, ran this headline:
"As Violence Falls in Iraq, Cemetery Workers Feel the Pinch."
The story underneath was datelined "Najaf, Iraq." Reporters Jay Price and Qasim Zein explained how "business isn't good" for Shi'ite gravediggers: "A drop in violence around Iraq has cut burials in the huge Wadi-al-Salam cemetery here by at least one-third in the past six months, and that's cut the pay of thousands of workers who make their living digging graves, washing corpses or selling burial shrouds." In other words, when the bad news turns good, we at McClatchy will spin it as bad news all over again.
That quote won Quote of the Year in the Media Research Center's Best Notable Quotables of 2007, the annual awards for the year's most outrageous media pronouncements.
That emblematic headline and story narrowly beat out the year's greatest absurdity from MSNBC's Keith Olbermann -- which by itself speaks volumes. In an interview with Playboy magazine, Olbermann claimed Fox News is more "dangerous" than al-Qaeda.
Give it 30 seconds of thought. On one side, al-Qaeda slaughtered 3,000 Americans on 9/11. On the other side, Fox News, well, they're dangerous because some of their pundits are rude to liberal Democrats?
Here's Olbermann's actual outpouring of idiocy: "Al-Qaeda really hurt us, but not as much as Rupert Murdoch has hurt us, particularly in the case of Fox News. Fox News is worse than al-Qaeda, worse for our society. It's as dangerous as the Ku Klux Klan ever was."
This is not an outburst that erupted on TV or the radio. He sat down with Playboy and spelled this out for transcription and editing. He did not add, "Just kidding! Hey, did someone spike my coffee?"
Speaking of wacky comparisons between Americans and murderous tyrants, a man named Peter Mehlman, a former Washington Post sports reporters and "Seinfeld" script writer, took to the leftist Huffington Post blog to argue that Adolf Hitler was morally superior to President Bush.
He said the president came into office by rejecting any notion of the public good, seeking only the good of his rich friends. By contrast, "You could argue that even the world's fascist dictators at least meant well. They honestly thought (they) were doing good things for their countries by suppressing blacks/eliminating Jews/eradicating free enterprise/repressing individual thought/killing off rivals/invading neighbors, et cetera."
On HBO, Bill Maher was upset that his friend Arianna Huffington removed commenters on that blog of hers who were lamenting that an attempt on Vice President Cheney's life in Afghanistan was foiled. "I'm just saying that if he did die, other people, more people, would live. That's a fact."
Left-wing lunacy was pretty common in 2007. Rosie O'Donnell talked her way off ABC's "The View" by spewing "655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists?" Rosie had company on that set. Her co-host Joy Behar seriously claimed that Democratic Sen. Tim Johnson's brain hemorrhage could be a Republican conspiracy: "Is there such a thing as a man-made stroke? ... I know what this party is capable of."
But at least there were still Democrats who made the media elite's hearts pitter-patter with delight. MSNBC's Chris Matthews stood out for hailing Barack Obama since he "sounds like Bobby Kennedy. It sounds like the '60s at its absolute best." After watching the funeral of Coretta Scott King, Matthews was even more over the moon at Bill Clinton's performance: "There are times when he sounds like Jesus in the temple." CBS morning anchor Harry Smith was so eager to press Al Gore into running for president that he held a "Gore for President" button in front of Gore's jacket after an interview and waxed, "Save that in a freeze frame." The elections in 2008 might look like a toss-up, but there remains absolutely no doubt which corner of the boxing ring the media elite have chosen.

What a tool. Ladies and gentlemen; you're bigoted and racist Democrat party.
In Darkest Pennsylvania
It was said behind closed doors to the chablis-and-brie set of San Francisco, in response to a question as to why he was not doing better in that benighted and barbarous land they call Pennsylvania.
Like Dr. Schweitzer, home from Africa to address the Royal Society on the customs of the upper Zambezi, Barack described Pennsylvanians in their native habitats of Atloona, Alquippa, Johnstown and McKeesport.
"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and ... the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them.
"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
This is the pitch-perfect Hollywood-Harvard stereotype of the white working class, the caricature of the urban ethnic -- as seen from the San Francisco point of view.
As Linus clung to his security blanket, Barack is saying, out-state Pennsylvanians, bitter at the world that has passed them by, cling to their Bibles and guns and naturally revert to ancestral bigotries against "people who aren't like them" -- blacks, gays and immigrants.
Though he sees himself as a progressive who has risen above prejudice, Barack was reflecting and pandering to the prejudice of the class to which he himself belongs, and which he was then addressing.
A few months back, Michelle Obama revealed her mindset about America with the remark that, "for the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country." Barack has now revealed how he, too, sees the country. The Great Unifier divides the nation into us and them.
The "us" are the privileged cosmopolitan elite of San Francisco and his Ivy League upbringing. The "them" are the folks in the small towns and rural areas of that other America. Toward these folks, Obama's attitude is not one of hostility, but of paternalism. Because time has passed them by, Barack believes, they cannot, in their frustration and bitterness, be held fully accountable for their atavistic beliefs and behavior.
Though neither mocking nor malicious, Barack's remarks are, nonetheless, steeped in condescension. Inherent in his words is that these folks in Middle Pennsylvania are in need of empathy, education, assistance and perhaps therapy.
His remarks are of a piece with his address on civil rights that liberals have compared favorably to Lincoln's Second Inaugural.
Note, from that Philadelphia address, the highlighted words.
"Most working- and middle-class white Americans don't feel that they have been particularly privileged by their race ... as far as they're concerned, no one's handed them anything. ... They ... feel their dreams slipping away ... opportunity comes to be seen as a zero sum game, in which your dreams come at my expense.
"Anger over welfare and affirmative action helped forge the Reagan Coalition. Politicians routinely exploited fears of crime for their own electoral ends. Talk show hosts and conservative commentators built entire careers unmasking bogus claims of racism while dismissing legitimate discussions of racial injustice and inequality as mere political correctness or reverse racism."
In Barack's mind, black anger and resentment at "racial injustice and inequality" are "legitimate." But the anger and resentment of white folks, about affirmative action, crime and forced busing are born of misperceptions -- and of "bogus claims of racism" manipulated and exploited by conservative columnists and commentators to keep the racial pot boiling and retain power, so the right can continue to do the bidding of the corporations that are the real enemy.
Barack has stumbled into the eternal failing of the left-wing populist. He cannot concede that the anger of white America -- that its right to equal justice has been sacrificed to salve the consciences of guilt-besotted liberals -- is a legitimate anger. The truth that Barack dare not speak is that reverse discrimination is pandemic and that the folks in Middle Pennsylvania have a valid grievance that ought to be addressed.
So, Barack sought in Philadelphia to redirect their anger.
"(T)hese white resentments distracted attention from the real culprits of the middle class squeeze -- a corporate culture rife with inside dealing, questionable accounting practices and short-term greed; a Washington dominated by lobbyists and special interests; economic policies that favor the few over the many."
Barack is not wrong here. Corporations, out of naked greed, have deserted America. And the Clinton and Bush administrations have been unresponsive to the social impact of deindustrialization. But Barack cannot concede that white Americans are today's victims of state-sanctioned racism.
A gifted candidate, Barack, after stumbling for 48 hours, has regained his footing with his witty ripostes about Hillary being "Annie Oakley" with her "six-shooter," spending her Sunday mornings "out on the duck blind."
Obama's remarks about small-town America told us little about small-town America, but a lot about Barack. He is yet another cookie-cutter liberal who has absorbed and internalized the prejudices of that blinkered breed.
He is an African-American John Lindsay, the great liberal hope of the Nixon-Agnew era, of whom Frank Manckiewicz once said: He was the only populist he knew who played squash every day at the Yale Club.

More liberals getting tough on terror. I wonder if this is in line with Obama's ideas about bipartisanship. XOXOXOXO
Congressmen Implore Carter to Shun Hamas
A group of more than 50 congressmen from both sides of the aisle have sent a letter beseeching former president Jimmy Carter not to meet with Khaled Meshal, the head of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
The letter, sponsored by Reps. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., and Shelley Berkeley, D-Nev., and signed by congressional leaders including House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, and veteran representative Barney Frank, D-Mass., lists the 26 Americans who have been killed in terrorist attacks launched by Hamas.
"President Carter, do not meet with the man who ordered their deaths," wrote the congressmen.
Carter reportedly hugged — and kissed — a Hamas leader Tuesday in the West Bank town of Ramallah on a Mideast visit that is to culminate in a meeting Friday with the group's exiled leader in Damascus, Syria.

There's a significant difference between being striving to achieve at an elite level and being a snobbish elitist.
Ann Coulter summed it up in her column:
It's going to take a lot of "framing" for Democrats to recast Obama's explanation to San Francisco cafe society that gun ownership and a belief in God are the byproducts of a psychological disorder brought on by economic hardship.
